Where TechMines's numbers come from
Every figure on this page comes from MCVoting pinging TechMines directly, around the clock. Nothing here is supplied by the server as a claim about itself without being checked first.
The measurement
- We ping the server on a five-minute cycle, which is roughly 288 probes a day. Over the last 31 days we made 8,822 of them and reached TechMines on 8,795.
- Uptime is the one figure a server cannot influence. It is our probe success rate — how often we got an answer — not anything the server reports about itself. Right now that is 99.7%.
- Player counts are checked before we publish them. A server states its own population in its status response, and some overstate it heavily. We discard any sample above 250,000, or more than ten times that server's own daily median, and we drop those readings rather than rewriting them — a clipped number would just be our invention in place of theirs.
- Peak and typical are computed from what survives that filter, so a figure here can sit below what the server itself advertises. If it does, the difference is the part we could not verify.
What we have on TechMines
Tracking since August 21, 2026 — 63 days of daily summaries, of which the figures above cover the most recent 31.
Its busiest day in those 31 days was September 27, 2026, peaking at 722 players.
A typical population of 298 puts it 31 of 152 among the servers we track by player count.
Individual readings are discarded after 30 days; the daily summaries they roll up into are kept for good, which is why tracking can start earlier than this window. The vote record for TechMines is on its vote page, and /trends covers the same measurements across every server at once.
