Best 1.17 Servers

Minecraft 1.17, Caves & Cliffs Part 1, introduced amethyst geodes, copper blocks and oxidation, axolotls, glow squid, goats, powder snow, spyglass, lightning rods, and candles. These new blocks and mobs added variety to both survival and creative gameplay.

Servers running 1.17 feature the new cave blocks and mobs without the full world generation overhaul that came in 1.18. This makes them a good option for servers with established worlds that want the new items and blocks.

Copper blocks with their unique oxidation mechanic add a time-based building element, while amethyst geodes provide renewable amethyst shards. Axolotls are helpful companions in underwater combat.
