Votifier / NuVotifier Test

Votifier is the plugin that receives votes from voting sites and passes them to reward plugins on your Minecraft server. Version 1 encrypts each vote with your server's RSA public key (found in plugins/Votifier/rsa/public.key). NuVotifier's version 2 protocol uses a shared token from config.yml and signs each vote with HMAC, which is why a v2 token must be kept private. Pick v2 if your plugin generated a token, and v1 if you only have an RSA public key.

8192 by default, set under port in plugins/Votifier/config.yml. If you changed it, enter your own port in the tool. The port must be open to incoming connections in your firewall or hosting panel, and it is separate from your Minecraft game port.

One vote for the username MCV_SETUP_CHECK, sent from MCVoting's servers to the host and port you entered. It is a normal Votifier vote, so your server logs show it arriving and a reward plugin may react to it as if MCV_SETUP_CHECK had voted. A success result means the vote was delivered and accepted by Votifier; whether a reward is then given depends on your vote-listener plugin.

No. The token or key you type is sent once to MCVoting's vote service to run the check, and the test does not save it or attach it to a server listing. A v2 token is a shared secret that can be used to send votes to your server, so only paste it into tools you trust, and replace it in config.yml if you think it has been exposed.

The usual causes are: the port is closed or blocked by a firewall or hosting panel (connection refused or timed out); the server is offline; the token has extra spaces or a missing character, or the RSA key is missing its BEGIN and END lines; or Votifier or NuVotifier is not installed or is listening on a different port than the one you entered. If the test succeeds but players get no reward, check your vote-listener plugin, such as VotingPlugin or SuperbVote.
